As a Junior Admissions Counselor at upGrad , you will be the first point of contact for prospective learners, helping them explore educational opportunities and guiding them through the early stages of their learning journey.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective learners through phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms.
- Understand learners career goals and recommend suitable upGrad programs.
- Explain program features, admission requirements, learning outcomes, and career benefits accurately.
- Follow up with assigned leads consistently to maximize conversions.
- Support the complete enrollment journey, from initial inquiry to successful registration.
- Achieve individual weekly and monthly activity, enrollment, and revenue targets under the guidance of your manager.
- Build trust with prospective learners by providing professional and personalized career guidance.
- Maintain accurate learner information and sales activities in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Admissions teams to ensure a smooth learner experience.
- Continuously improve product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry understanding through training and coaching.
Skills & Requirements
- 0–2 years of experience in sales, telesales, customer service, education consulting, or related fields. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Passion for education and helping learners achieve their career goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn consultative selling techniques and build a career in education sales.
- Customer-focused with a positive, proactive attitude.
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone and through digital communication channels.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and follow-ups.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (or willingness to learn).

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
