Role Description The Area Sales Manager role at King Koil India is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. The person in this role will manage and grow sales within the assigned territory by developing new business, nurturing existing accounts, and maintaining strong relationships with retail and hospitality partners. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting sales targets, conducting client visits, presenting product solutions, negotiating pricing and contracts, and supporting customers with product training and merchandising guidance. The Area Sales Manager will monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and provide actionable insights to the leadership team. This role also involves coordinating with internal teams such as marketing, production, and logistics to ensure timely delivery, effective promotions, and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales, business development, and account management skills, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in territory management, market mapping, and channel development (retail, distribution, or hospitality preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills for engaging with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, prepare reports, and use insights to drive strategies and sales plans.
  • Proven relationship-building and customer service skills, with a focus on long-term partnerships and satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in an on-site, field-driven environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in mattresses, furniture, FMCG, consumer durables, or hospitality industry sales is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) to manage pipelines and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel regularly
