Role Overview
The Sales Manager for Thailand and Laos is a key commercial role responsible for driving sales growth, managing the full sales cycle, and developing strong relationships with customers in the assigned markets. The position focuses on promoting and selling industrial processing solutions to customers in the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the complete sales cycle for Thailand and Laos, from lead generation and inquiry handling to contract negotiation and order closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with end customers, distributors, agents, and key stakeholders in the assigned territory.
- Actively promote industrial-scale processing solutions, aligning offerings with customer application needs.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer and distributor inquiries, providing quotations, technical clarification, and commercial proposals.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate forecasting.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and solution demonstrations, including coordination of trials where required.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor information, and customer feedback, and share insights with internal product management and marketing teams.
- Collaborate closely with the teams on pricing strategies, sales plans.
- Ensure all sales activities, opportunities, and customer data are accurately maintained in the CRM system (e.g. Salesforce).
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, seminars, and marketing events in Thailand, Laos, and the region as required.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, KPIs, and strategic business objectives.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 57 years of sales experience in technical or solution-based sales, preferably within food & beverage processing, laboratory equipment, or related industries.
- Proven experience managing distributors or channel partners in Southeast Asia is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of customer processes, applications, and decision-making in food, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple opportunities, prioritize effectively, and drive deals to closure.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of self-motivation, ownership, and ability to work independently.
- Comfortable with frequent travel within Thailand and Laos.
- Fluent in English is required; proficiency in Thai is essential. Knowledge of Lao language is an advantage.
