Our client is Thai company in the beauty and health sector focused on creating highquality, consumercentric products through advanced formulation, market insight, and strategic collaboration with leading manufacturers. This role plays a key part in driving product innovation by managing the full development lifecycle and ensuring each concept becomes a marketready product. It requires strong coordination, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate consumer and market insights into successful product solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete lifecycle of New Product Development (NPD), from initial brief to final launch.
- Ensure all product development processes are executed efficiently and aligned with operational targets.
- Enhance current product offerings by identifying opportunities and proposing improvement initiatives.
- Lead the creation of new products, including concept design, feasibility assessment, and overall project evaluation.
- Assess production feasibility and work closely with the procurement team to source, validate, and audit OEMs, suppliers, and partners to ensure they meet NPD requirements.
- Develop and refine standards related to raw materials, packaging, manufacturing processes, product quality, and budget allocation.
- Troubleshoot daily operational challenges that may impact development timelines and provide appropriate guidance or solutions.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify consumer trends and insights that support product strategy and innovation.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and quality control functions to ensure all products meet internal standards and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Product Development, Business, Management, or a related discipline.
- 5 years of experience in product development or similar functions (experience in skincare, cosmetics, or supplements is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes in the skincare or cosmetics sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Solid knowledge of product design, prototyping, and production workflows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly detailoriented with a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, collaborative team environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to make data-informed decisions.
