About Us

• Ensure the constant availability of approved raw materials in optimal quantity at optimal costs to achieve uninterrupted operation at the manufacturing location.

This Will Involve:

• Setting up of inventory norms, calculating material requirement derived from the production plan
• Constant monitoring of inventory levels in the pipeline.
• To support the SBU in ensuring timely payment of dues to the vendors
• To be alert and cope with situations of unplanned surge in demands

resulting in resource constraints

• To constantly evaluate and optimize cost components including vendor margins for various products.

This Will Involve:

• Preparing / updating the cost sheet for all raw materials indicating all the costs of all input raw materials.
• Constant monitoring of the markets to keep abreast of development therein and harness opportunities to improve input raw material prices.
• To interact with vendors and explore possibilities to improve quality,

Supply and optimize costs.

• To set up MIS to gather and analyze data on raw material demand, supply, price trends and forecasts. Collection, collation and trend analysis based on information from web sites, subscriptions, networking and published data.

Requirements

• Graduate (preferably science/engineering) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement (FMCG preferred) in a large-scale manufacturing organization
