Job Description

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – CAPEX Procurement to lead the procurement of capital assets for our upcoming and existing QSR

outlets. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for new store

openings (NSOs), restaurant renovations, and CAPEX projects while ensuring cost optimization,

quality standards, and timely project execution.

The ideal candidate will work closely with the Supply Chain, Projects, Finance and Operations

teams to ensure seamless procurement of kitchen equipment, furniture, fixtures, signage, MEP

materials, and other capital assets required for restaurant operations and expansion.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Self-driven and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Good commercial acumen with a focus on cost optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and documentation.
  • Ability to work under tight project timelines for new store openings.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems, and procurement reporting.

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage end-to-end CAPEX procurement for new store openings and renovation projects.
  • Source and procure kitchen equipment, furniture, fixtures, electrical items, HVAC,signage, interiors, and other capital assets.
  • Develop and maintain a robust vendor base through sourcing, evaluation and negotiation.
  • Lead commercial negotiations to achieve the best pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules while maintaining quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Projects, Operations and Finance teams to understand procurement requirements and project timelines.
  • Ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs), follow-up with vendors, invoice verification, Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), and payment coordination.
  • Track procurement schedules to ensure all materials are delivered before store opening timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of CAPEX assets, warranties, AMCs, and asset costing.
  • Monitor inventory movement and coordinate inter-store asset transfers wherever required.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrices, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare procurement MIS, spend analysis, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, process improvements, and cost optimization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in CAPEX procurement, preferably in the QSR, Retail,Hospitality, Food and Beverage, or Restaurant industry.
  • Experience in managing procurement for New Store Openings (NSOs) and refurbishment projects.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Procurement systems.
  • Knowledge of commercial negotiations, vendor contracts, and procurement documentation.

SALARY

Will depend on experience. Upto 8 LPA.
