Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and commercially minded product planning professional to manage product availability, demand forecasting, sales event preparation, and planning process improvements across online sales channels. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the right products are available in the right channels at the right time, while supporting better sales performance, inventory movement, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Product Availability and Channel Planning

  • Manage the availability and lifecycle of physical products across online sales channels, ensuring product listings, availability status, and restrictions are accurate and up to date.
  • Analyse product performance by channel from commercial, operational, and financial perspectives, and provide data-driven recommendations for decision-making.
  • Coordinate with product, fulfilment, technology, and operations teams on product launches, phase-outs, sold-out items, and stock location alignment.
  • Review product offerings across channels and identify opportunities to improve sales potential, customer satisfaction, and stock movement.
  • Support initiatives to reduce slow-moving inventory and deplete obsolete products effectively.

Demand Forecasting and Planning

  • Prepare and review demand forecasts for global online sales channels, comparing forecasted demand against actual demand to identify trends and improvement areas.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotions, key campaigns, product launches, and other business activities into demand plans.
  • Document key assumptions, forecast adjustments, promotional inputs, and planning decisions in a structured and transparent manner.
  • Work with relevant teams on demand planning, stock transfers, and fulfilment requirements to support smooth operations and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Facilitate regular demand planning discussions and support consensus-building across stakeholders.
  • Track demand planning and S&OP accuracy through clearly defined metrics and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Event Sales Preparation and Analysis

  • Coordinate sales preparation for events, including proposed product lists, stock planning, pricing coordination, and online sales readiness.
  • Work with supply chain, pricing, e-commerce, and related teams to ensure event sales requirements are prepared in advance.
  • Prepare sales forecasts for event budgeting and stock planning.
  • Coordinate sales support materials such as brochures, banners, videos, and other related assets where required.
  • Analyse post-event sales performance and recommend improvements for future events.

Process Improvement and Reporting

  • Lead or support cross-functional process improvement initiatives related to product planning, demand planning, and operational controls.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, trackers, or reporting tools to support better visibility and decision-making.
  • Represent the product planning and demand planning perspective in relevant projects and business discussions.
  • Handle special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with at least 2 years in product planning, demand planning, merchandising, inventory planning, or a related function.
  • Experience in merchandising, e-commerce operations, supply chain planning, or inventory planning will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across departments and cultures.
  • Systematic and logical thinking, with good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP, MRP, or similar ERP systems will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment.
