Title: Assistant Operations Manager

About the Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Operations Manager to support and enhance the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced tech company, Deliveree Thailand. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, manage resources, and ensure smooth execution of business operations. This role requires a blend of operational insight, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Driver Training and Driver Management team.
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of operational strategies and initiatives.
- Develop processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
- Improve internal processes to maintain high-quality service standards.
- Monitor internal workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to manage team schedules, KPIs, and project timelines.
- Analyze operational performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
- Coordinate with departments such as Product, Customer Service, Business Management, and Cross-Country Operations teams.
- Manage ad-hoc projects or assignments as needed, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- Contribute to risk management efforts by identifying and mitigating potential operational bottlenecks.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of efficiency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 35 years of experience in an operations role, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a small team.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proven track record of process optimization and project coordination.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong computer literacy - proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, Asana/Trello, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Thai.
- Ability to work in both team settings and independently with less supervision.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile project management frameworks.
