Job Description

The Assistant Project Manager at Shopstack will support the planning, coordination, documentation, and day-to-day follow-up of ecommerce and technology projects. This role is suitable for candidates with around 1 year of working experience, internship experience, or early project coordination experience.

This role will work closely with project managers, business analysts, designers, developers, QA teams, and clients to help ensure projects are organized, tracked, and delivered smoothly.

The ideal candidate does not need to be a senior ecommerce expert, but should be organized, responsible, willing to learn, and comfortable communicating with both internal teams and clients. This is a good opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a Project Manager role in ecommerce, software development, and digital technology.

Responsibilities

  • Support project managers in coordinating local and international client projects.
  • Help track project tasks, timelines, deliverables, and follow-ups.
  • Assist in preparing meeting notes, project updates, task lists, and status reports.
  • Join client and internal meetings to capture requirements, action items, and decisions.
  • Coordinate with developers, designers, QA, business analysts, and other team members to ensure tasks are understood and followed up.
  • Help communicate project progress, blockers, and updates to internal teams and clients.
  • Support the review and organization of project scopes, requirements, and documentation.
  • Assist in managing project tools, task boards, timelines, and shared documents.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure tasks are completed on time.
  • Help identify project issues early and escalate them to the project manager or management team.
  • Support QA, UAT, deployment, and project handover activities when needed.
  • Learn and understand ecommerce platforms, client business processes, and project delivery workflows.

Qualifications

  • Around 1 year of working experience in project coordination, project management support, business analysis, ecommerce, software development, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates with strong internship experience or relevant project experience are also welcome to apply.
  • Interest in ecommerce, technology, software development, digital platforms, or online business.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to work with clients and internal teams.
  • Good organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow up on tasks and keep information clear and structured.
  • Basic understanding of project management, task tracking, or software development processes is a plus.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Notion, Google Workspace, or Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable working with teams across different countries and cultures.
