About the Role

Develop and deliver programme strategies and plans to strengthen Senior Leadership at AIA in the context of AIA's Purpose, Operating Philosophy and Ascend200 strategic priorities.

Ensure highest quality and standards in leadership development solutions scoped, designed and executed.

  • Lead the diagnosis, analysis, planning, and execution of AIA's strategic capability-building programs within the Business Excellence pillar of AIA Group's Catalyst for Growth framework to ensure alignment with and direct support for AIA's corporate strategy.

  • Take accountability for the overall impact, execution quality, and continuous improvement of programs and learning solutions, including but not limited to program design, content validation, delivery methods, trainer qualifications, and post-program follow-up. Emphasise strong outcome-driven value creation thorough robust impact assessments

  • Inspire behavioral change to drive effective capability transformations at AIA through proactive leadership and engagement. Ensure robust internal and external stakeholder management to achieve collective success.

  • Oversee the leadership and adoption of the Catalyst for Growth framework across Local Business Units (LBUs), ensuring delivery excellence and measurable impact for all relevant initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with program sponsors, functional teams, other HR COE (Centers of Excellence) colleagues (ALC and GLTM), and the Group HRBP team to establish consistent learning and leadership standards across all regions. Build and sustain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including AIA Leadership Center executives, LBU CEOs, and Chief HR Officers.

  • Partner with the Dean of AIA Leadership Center to ensure efficient operational oversight, budget governance, and timely reporting for all relevant programs and projects.

  • Responsible for other relating tasks as assigned to align with business policy and build long term business growth.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • University graduate or Industry equivalent and/or more than 10 years relevant experience, with at least 5 years in strategic talent or leadership development roles

  • Experience and knowledge in learning and leadership development strategic planning and execution capabilities

  • Sound knowledge in design and development of world-class Leadership programs

  • Strong engagement and people skills

  • Keen problem identification and solving abilities

  • Effective project management capability

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  • Strong business acumen

  • Change leadership ability

  • Keen understanding and working knowledge of setting and leading a Corporate University will be an added advantage
