Key Responsibilities
- Lead and drive the automation engineering team to ensure stable, high-performance automation systems across the entire production process, from raw material intake to packaging and palletizing.
- Own the design and continuous improvement of plant control system architecture, including seamless integration with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to enable data-driven operations.
- Develop, program, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLC systems to maximize equipment uptime, throughput, and production efficiency.
- Manage cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and IT teams to align automation capabilities with operational and business objectives.
- Lead automation-related projects end-to-end, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, vendor coordination, and commissioning.
- Establish governance and standards for control system documentation, change management, cybersecurity, and compliance with food safety and quality requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Automation Engineering, Electrical/Control Engineering, Instrumentation, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in automation or control engineering within food, pet food, FMCG, or process manufacturing environments.
- Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and lead automation engineers.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Allen-Bradley PLC platforms (Studio 5000, ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and HMI/SCADA systems.
- Solid experience in MES implementation or integration, with knowledge of ISA-88 / ISA-95 standards and industrial networking protocols.
- Strong communication skills with working proficiency in English and fluency in Thai, enabling effective collaboration with international suppliers and internal stakeholders.
