Business Analyst
The Business Analyst (BA) in the team serves as the critical link between business stakeholders and the technical teams. The BA is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the development of data products, analytics solutions, and AI models.
The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, data engineers, data scientists, and visualization specialists to ensure that all requirements are clearly defined, feasible, and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. The BA operates within an Agile environment, ensuring continuous delivery and improvement of data-driven products.

01. Translates requirements by understanding the business and technical space
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document detailed requirements for data products, analytics tools, and AI models.
- Understand business goals, processes, and challenges to ensure that the analytics solutions provide actionable insights and value to the business.
- Translate complex business needs into technical requirements and functional specifications that are comprehensible to engineers and data scientists.

02. Facilitation & Communication
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and the technical teams (data engineers, data scientists, and visualization experts), ensuring clear understanding of requirements and project objectives.
- Work closely with product managers to prioritize and scope the requirements based on business value and feasibility.
- Assist in testing and validation of analytics solutions, ensuring they meet business expectations.
03. Knowledge Management
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all requirements, changes, and functional specifications.
- Ensure that all user stories, use cases, and technical specifications are up-to-date and accessible to both the business and technical teams.
- Create and update user guides, training materials, and process documentation for end users of analytics tools.
