Key Responsibilities:
Platform Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define and articulate a clear strategic vision and multi-year product roadmap for the TrueMoney Payment Platform and Cross-Border Transfer Platform, aligning with overall company objectives and market opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessment to identify new features, functionalities, and payment solutions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting payments and cross-border transfers.
Product Development & Management:
- Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Prioritize features and initiatives based on business impact, technical feasibility, and resource availability.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, and other cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Oversee the end-to-end development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet defined objectives.
Business Performance & Growth:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for both platforms, including transaction volume, user adoption, and operational efficiency.
- Identify and implement strategies to optimize platform performance, drive user engagement, and accelerate business growth.
- Work closely with business development and sales teams to support go-to-market strategies, product launches, and client engagements.
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to enhance platform capabilities and expand market reach.
Operational Excellence & Compliance:
- Ensure the platforms operate efficiently, securely, and in compliance with all relevant financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, data privacy).
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to implement robust fraud detection and prevention measures.
- Oversee platform stability, scalability, and performance, working with technical teams to address any issues promptly.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Potentially lead and mentor a team of product managers or business analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
- Act as a primary point of contact and subject matter expert for payment and cross-border transfer platforms within the organization.
- Effectively communicate platform strategy, progress, and performance to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirement:
- Bachelor&aposs degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in product management, business development, or a similar role within the fintech, payments, or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex digital payment platforms or cross-border transfer solutions.
- Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, including payment gateways, acquiring, issuing, card networks, alternative payment methods (APMs), and real-time payment systems.
- Strong knowledge of cross-border payment regulations, foreign exchange (FX) mechanisms, and international remittance processes.
- Familiarity with financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, PCI DSS) and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
