We are looking for an entrepreneurial and performance-driven Business Development Manager to build and manage the Deposits Business for our Virtual Bank. This role owns the full product lifecyclefrom strategy through executionfor retail deposit products. You will drive aggressive growth, launch innovative propositions, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences across digital channels.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end development, launch, and ongoing management of deposit products and features, including product design, pricing, and enhancements, while optimizing the portfolio to meet customer needs, remain competitive, and achieve business targets.
- Drive product enhancements and feature changes by partnering with cross-functional teams, ensuring full compliance with regulatory, risk, and operational requirements.
- Leverage data, customer insights, and market intelligence to shape pricing strategies, assess margin impacts, and manage interest rate adjustments.
- Own key deposit customer value propositions (CVPs) and execute growth initiatives to drive deposit balances, revenue, customer engagement, and portfolio activation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement through performance analysis and customer feedback, leading change initiatives that enhance product usage and customer experience.
- Understanding of regulatory reporting is a plus.
Requirement:
- 5-8+ years of experience in banking or fintech
- Demonstrated ability to scale deposit businesses, ideally in a digital-first or startup context.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, deposit protection, and digital onboarding standards.
- Hands-on experience with retail deposit propositions and related product innovation.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to influence at all levels. Data- and customer-driven mindset with experience leading teams through ambiguity.
