Identify and assess the potential project sites for Solar, Wind and other energy developments in Thailand, considering technical, environmental, and regulatory factors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of renewable energy project development, from initial site selection to project execution and handover.
- Identify and assess the potential project sites for Solar, Wind and other energy developments in Thailand, considering technical, environmental, and regulatory factors
- Lead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless coordination between technical, commercial, and operational functions.
- Manage the project development process, including site selection, land acquisition, permitting, feasibility studies, and stakeholder engagement, to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution
- Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies to address technical, financial, and operational challenges throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitor project performance, track key metrics, and provide regular updates to senior management on project status, milestones, risks, and opportunitiesLead a multidisciplinary team, ensuring seamless coordination between technical, commercial, and operational functions.
Qualifications
- Experience in renewable energy professional with preferably 4 years of renewable energy development activities (or similar) in Thailand and overseas.
- Good understanding of the energy market and key players in Thailand, as well as the policy outlook.
- Experience with Wind Energy projects is a plus.
Required Skills
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Technical expertise in renewable energy systems.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with regulatory compliance in Thailand.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessments.
