The Business Development Manager Thailand is responsible for originating, developing, and securing transportation and mobility technology opportunities across Thailand. This role will serve as Go Hub's in-country commercial representative, building relationships with transport operators, government agencies, terminal owners, and private mobility players to generate project leads and partnership opportunities. The manager will drive early-stage opportunity shaping from stakeholder engagement and market intelligence to lead qualification and bid positioning before handing projects to HQ consulting and tender teams.
1. Role Objectives
- Establish Go Hub's commercial presence in Thailand
- Build a qualified pipeline of transport-tech opportunities
- Secure meetings with transport authorities & operators
- Position Go Hub in upcoming tenders & PPP projects
- Develop local partnerships for market entry
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Lead Generation & Opportunity Origination
- Identify and originate new projects across Thailand's transport ecosystem, including:
- Bus terminals
- Rail operators
- Urban transit agencies
- Airport transport operators
- Ferry & port terminals
- Smart city mobility projects
- Develop early intelligence on upcoming tenders and concessions.
- Maintain opportunity pipeline tracker.
B. Government & Authority Engagement
Build relationships with:
- Ministry of Transport Thailand
- Department of Land Transport
- State Railway of Thailand
- Bangkok Mass Transit Authority
- Provincial transport authorities
- City municipalities
Responsibilities include:
- Securing introductory and technical meetings
- Positioning Go Hub solutions
- Tracking policy and funding developments
C. Private Sector & Operator Partnerships
Engage private stakeholders, including:
- Bus operators
- Terminal concessionaires
- Fleet operators
- Taxi & limousine companies
- Logistics operators
- Infrastructure developers
Drive partnership models such as:
- Revenue sharing
- System integration
- Joint ventures
- Technology concessions
D. Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
- Monitor Thailand transport policies and masterplans.
- Track infrastructure funding and PPP pipelines.
- Produce quarterly Thailand market intelligence reports.
E. Bid Positioning & Tender Preparation
- Identify upcoming tenders early.
- Secure pre-tender briefings.
- Gather technical and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate with Cyberjaya HQ on bid strategy.
F. Partner & Ecosystem Development
- Identify local system integrators and contractors.
- Source local content partners (hardware, civil, ICT).
- Build consortium structures where required.
G. Corporate Representation
- Represent Go Hub at:

4. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Transport, or equivalent.
- MBA or regional business exposure preferred.

- Experience in the Thailand transport or infrastructure sector preferred.
- Exposure to PPP / concession / tender environments is advantageous.
