About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Defence Sales professional to drive business growth across the Ministry of Defence (MoD) and Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing government accounts, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and successfully driving the complete sales lifecycle within the defence and homeland security ecosystem.

This role requires extensive engagement with the Indian Armed Forces, Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), and other government agencies, along with frequent travel across India for customer meetings, product demonstrations, trials, and business development activities.

Total experience : 10- to 15 years

Work Location : Noida

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline to achieve annual business targets.

* Identify and create new business opportunities in Defence, Optronics, Border Management, and Homeland Security markets.

* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers across MoD and MHA, including the Indian Army, BSF, CRPF, NSG, ITBP, SSB, Rashtriya Rifles, Special Forces, and Army Commands.

* Engage with customer stakeholders to understand operational requirements and translate them into product and business opportunities.

* Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to defence and government customers.

* Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Program Management, and Technical Support to deliver customer-centric solutions.

* Prepare and support responses for RFIs, EOIs, RFPs, and commercial proposals.

* Represent the organization at defence exhibitions, customer events, and industry forums.

* Develop market intelligence and identify emerging opportunities within the defence and homeland security ecosystem.

* Ensure timely follow-up on customer requirements, proposal submissions, order closures, and payment collections.

* Travel extensively across India to support customer engagements, trials, demonstrations, and business development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) or MBA/PGDM from a recognized institution.

* Experience in Defence Sales, Government Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management.

* Demonstrated experience working with MoD and/or MHA customers.

* Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.

* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Preferred Experience

* Experience working with Army Commands, CAPFs, Border Management organizations, or Special Forces.

* Experience conducting customer demonstrations and field trials.

* Knowledge of defence electronics, optronics, weapon sights, surveillance systems, or related technologies.

* Prior service in the Indian Armed Forces or experience working closely with defence organizations will be an added advantage.
