Job Description

Job Purpose

To lead the capital risk management team in ensuring regulatory compliance, optimizing capital

utilization, and delivering high-value insights that strengthen the company's capital position

and financial resilience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of capital adequacy reports and ad hoc requirements to the OIC.
  • Oversee the end-to-end performance and deliverables of the Capital Risk Management team.
  • Analyze the company's Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) to derive valuable business insights and report findings to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct capital-related stress tests and continuously update scenarios to ensure they remain appropriate and relevant.
  • Collaborate in the annual business planning process to ensure alignment with capital management objectives.
  • Study and analyze various capital models, including Credit Rating Agency models and Economic Capital models.
  • Monitor emerging trends and situations that could impact capital risk, and provide proactive mitigation plans to senior management.
  • Optimize capital efficiency across key functions such as Investment, Product Development, and ALM, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Develop, review, and update policies and guidelines related to capital risk management.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external organizations, including the OIC, external auditors, TLAA, and the parent company.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Financial Engineering, Risk Management, or related quantitative fields.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Risk Management or Capital Management (Insurance industry preferred).
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and systems thinking skills.
  • Ability to learn independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Thai and English.
  • Managerial experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling is highly desirable.
  • CFA, FRM, or SOA certifications preferred.
