Chief Financial Officer

About the role

Our client is a leading life insurance company in Thailand. Due to continued business growth, they are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team. Reporting directly to senior management, you will lead all aspects of the finance function, including financial planning, accounting, capital management, regulatory compliance, and treasury. You will play a key role in supporting business growth while ensuring a strong financial and governance framework across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance strategy and support key business decisions
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, tax, and financial reporting requirements
• Lead IFRS 17 implementation and reporting activities
• Manage capital adequacy, solvency, and asset-liability management (ALM)
• Oversee accounting, treasury, and finance operations
• Drive finance transformation and process improvement initiatives
• Develop and lead the finance and accounting team

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field
• CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred
• At least 10 years of senior finance leadership experience within the life insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of IFRS 17, insurance accounting, capital management, and financial reporting
• A solid understanding of Thailand's insurance regulatory environment
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in both Thai and English
