Chief Technology Officer (URGENT)

This role is dual-focused: you will set the roadmap for AI-driven solutions and technology enablement while also providing guidance on workforce planning and capability-building within the engineering team. You will serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders on how technology can unlock growth, but you must also be willing to roll up your sleeves to support coding, solution delivery, and problem-solving alongside the team when needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Define & Align Strategy: Set and execute the Technology and AI vision, ensuring direct alignment with critical business goals and driving digital transformation alongside the CEO and leadership.
- Scale Systems: Oversee the development and scaling of software, infrastructure, and robust data systems, ensuring product integration and high performance.
- Team Leadership & Growth: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Engineering and AI team, fostering a culture of innovation and high standards.
- Resource Planning: Advise leadership on manpower planning and optimal resource allocation by assessing team capacity, structure, and skillsets.
- Technical Governance: Establish and enforce technical standards, best practices, and enterprise-level security protocols.
- Hands-on Contribution: Be hands-on as needed, supporting code reviews, prototyping, technical deep-dives, and problem-solving alongside the team.
- Maintain Edge: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure continuous innovation and a competitive advantage.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in senior technology or engineering leadership roles, ideally with significant exposure to AI, machine learning, or data-driven product development.
- Strong track record in scaling technology infrastructure and teams to support rapid business growth.
- Proven ability to seamlessly balance strategic vision with hands-on technical execution.
- Experience advising stakeholders on tech enablement, organizational structure, and workforce planning.
- A strong coding background (e.g., Python, Node.js, or similar) and a willingness to contribute directly when needed.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to bridge complex technical requirements and core business priorities.
- Professional fluency in English and native Thai speaking ability are required.
- Startup or high-growth environment experience is a strong plusmust be adaptable, resourceful, and thrive in ambiguity.
- Strong candidates have a proven track record of delivering AI-driven products at scale and a solid, hands-on web development background building platforms from the ground up.
