Job Purpose
The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company adheres to applicable legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements. The role serves as a trusted compliance partner to business and functional stakeholders, providing practical regulatory guidance, fostering a strong culture of compliance, and independently managing compliance initiatives, monitoring activities, regulatory engagements, and reporting obligations.
Roles & Responsibilitie
- sDevelop and Implement Compliance Policies: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive compliance policies and procedures to ensure the company meets all regulatory requirements
- .Monitor Regulatory Changes: Stay updated with relevant laws and regulations, and ensure the company's policies are aligned with any changes in legislation
- .Conduct Compliance Audits: Plan and execute internal compliance audits and investigations to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations
- .Training and Education: Organize and conduct compliance training programs for employees to ensure awareness and understanding of compliance issues and responsibilities
- .Reporting: Prepare and present regular compliance reports to the senior management and the board of directors, highlighting key compliance risks and issues
- .Liaison with Regulatory Bodies: Serve as the main point of contact with regulatory agencies, manage regulatory examinations, and ensure prompt and accurate responses to regulatory inquiries
- .Stakeholder Engagement and Advisory: Build and maintain strong relationships with business units and management to provide practical compliance advice, support business initiatives, promote a strong compliance culture, and facilitate the effective implementation of regulatory and policy requirements across the organization
- .Compliance Risk Assessment and Governance: Conduct compliance risk assessments, support the maintenance of the compliance framework, and provide meaningful reporting and insights on compliance risks, trends, and emerging regulatory developments to management
