Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, track, and analyse project and operational costs to ensure alignment with budgets and forecasts.
- Support management in preparing cost reports, variance analyses, and financial performance reviews.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including cost-related schedules.
- Ensure accurate allocation of costs across departments, projects, and business units.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, and project teams to validate cost data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate cost estimates and insights.
- Maintain and enhance cost-controlling systems, tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and corporate guidelines.
- Provide ad hoc cost analysis and financial support for management decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree or professional certification is a plus).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost controlling, financial analysis, or management accounting, preferably in logistics, manufacturing, or multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
