Location: Bangkok, Thailand

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Country Manager (Thailand) to lead and accelerate business growth in the local market. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving revenue, strengthening distribution networks, and expanding market presence across key sectors.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take full ownership of commercial performance and play a critical role in shaping the company's Thailand growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute market growth strategies to drive revenue and expand market share
  • Build, manage, and strengthen distribution and channel partner networks across Thailand
  • Cultivate strong relationships with EPC contractors, consultants, developers, and key customers
  • Lead commercial negotiations and close large-scale, high-value deals
  • Drive sales performance, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and conversion rates
  • Lead and motivate the local sales and commercial team to achieve high performance
  • Identify new business opportunities, sectors, and growth avenues
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and pricing strategies to leadership
  • Collaborate with operations and service teams to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Represent the company at industry events, forums, and key client meetings

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred); MBA is an advantage
  • 15-20+ years of experience in power generation, industrial equipment, or related sectors
  • Proven leadership experience in Thailand or Southeast Asia markets

Key Requirements

  • Strong industry network across distributors, EPC firms, contractors, and developers
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets
  • Expertise in channel development and key account management
  • Excellent negotiation and deal-closing capabilities
  • Strong understanding of local market dynamics and regulatory landscape
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Willingness to travel across Thailand
