About the Role
We are looking for a Customs Specialist to manage daily customs clearance activities and ensure full compliance with import and export regulations. This role will work closely with internal teams, customs authorities, and external brokers to support efficient and compliant trade operations across factory sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up and coordinate daily import and export customs clearance activities
- Perform HS Code classification, verification, and related compliance checks
- Analyze import/export restrictions and licensing requirements based on HS Codes
- Review customs documentation and submit to customs brokers for clearance arrangements
- Develop and improve customs clearance procedures and risk control processes
- Monitor, interpret, and provide updates on customs regulations and policies
- Support customs audits, including preparation and response activities
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Customs Declarer Certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in customs compliance operations.
- Experience in manufacturing or home appliance industry is preferred
- Strong knowledge of international trade, customs clearance processes, processing trade manufacturing, HS classification, and bonded goods management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in bonded factory operations
- Certified Customs Broker License
- Hands-on experience with Free Trade Agreements (FTA), Duty Drawback, and Free Trade Zone operations
