Job Responsibilities
- Work with Snowflake or Azure, depending on demand
- Design and implement Data Engineering Solutions, including batch and streaming data pipelines on Cloud
- Design and implement extraction, processing and storage of data from different sources
- Design conceptual, logical and physical data models for analytics solutions
- Collaborate with project teams, business customers and other partners in requirements gathering, solution design and delivery
- Ensure adherence to best practices, technical architecture, design standards, and technology roadmaps
- Translate customer needs into logical & physical models, data diagrams and automated workflows
- Explore and learn new technologies aligned with technology roadmaps and industry trends
- Engage in proof of concepts, technical demos and interactions with customers and technical teams
- Apply analytical thinking to solve complex data issues and support data-driven decision-making
Primary Skill Set
- Solid knowledge of SQL (queries and stored procedures)
- Strong proficiency in DBT, Databricks, GitHub
- Experience working with Azure, Snowflake, and AWS cloud services.
- Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines for Cloud (e.g., Azure ADF, Functions, Event Hub, Azure DevOps)
- Familiarity with data modeling (Star schema, Snowflake schema)
- Cloudera platform experience
- Good understanding of Python
Nice-to-Have Skill Sets
- Experience with Data & Analytics Projects and on-premises data pipelines (e.g., NiFi, SSIS)
- Experience with SQL optimization on SQL Server (indexes, query plans, load strategies)
- Experience integrating and managing data flows from diverse sources (e.g., SAP, SQL Server, Hadoop)
- CI/CD fundamentals (DevOps, Git)
- Exposure to visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma)
