Subsurface Database Administrator - Oil & Gas

• 12 month Contract
• Based in Bangkok
• Mon-Fri, 8 hours per day

Responsibilities:

The service is to handle a streamline of subsurface data lifecycle including;

1) Database management and integration

2) Application management and support

3) Operating system

4) Infrastructure management

5) Documentation

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience as a DBA with Oracle
• Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture, SQL, PL/SQL
• Experience in Linux shell scripting
• Familiarity with Oracle tools e.g. RMAN, OEM, Data Guard, etc.
• Exposure to OpenWorks & Studio (or ability to quickly learn and support it)
• Knowledge of backup tools and monitoring platforms.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Read, write and speak fluent English.
