Role Summary
The Director – Delivery will lead the India Center of Excellence (CoE), driving end-to-end delivery across multiple programs and client engagements. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring successful project execution, operational excellence, AI-led software delivery, and achievement of business outcomes across fixed-price and outcome-based engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee delivery of all projects and programs within the India CoE, ensuring quality, timelines, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Build and scale an AI-driven Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), leveraging Generative AI and agentic frameworks to improve productivity, quality, and speed of delivery.
- Drive delivery of innovative AI-powered solutions across enterprise transformation programs, including automation, analytics, and intelligent applications.
- Manage large, complex portfolios comprising fixed-bid, managed services, and outcome-based engagements, ensuring commercial success and risk mitigation.
- Establish governance mechanisms, delivery metrics, KPIs, and executive reporting to ensure predictable and transparent execution.
- Collaborate with clients, business leaders, and technology teams to define delivery strategies aligned with business outcomes.
- Lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams across architecture, COTS platforms, engineering, QA, data, AI, and cloud technologies.
- Champion engineering excellence through DevSecOps, CI/CD, quality engineering, and AI-assisted development practices.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost, productivity, utilization, and customer experience.
- Support pre-sales, solutioning, estimation, and contract negotiations for strategic pursuits and large transformation deals.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in technology delivery, with at least 5 years in a senior delivery leadership role.
- Proven experience leading large-scale global delivery organizations or Centers of Excellence.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering AI-enabled solutions and implementing AI-driven SDLC practices.
- Strong experience managing fixed-price, outcome-based, and managed services engagements with P&L accountability.
- Experience in portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and executive-level client interactions.
- Deep understanding of Agile delivery, DevSecOps, cloud platforms, and modern engineering practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to drive transformation at scale.
Preferred
- Experience in GenAI, Agentic AI platforms, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Exposure to enterprise architecture and digital transformation programs across industries.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and global delivery models.
