Summary
The primary function of this job is to oversee DevOps operations, ensuring seamless integration and deployment of software applications. This role involves managing development, testing, and production environments to maintain high availability and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage DevOps Tools and Platforms: Configure and maintain DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure efficient CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor System Performance: Continuously monitor the performance of applications and infrastructure to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Implement Security Measures: Ensure that all DevOps processes comply with security standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with Development and IT Teams: Work closely with development and IT teams to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
- Automate Processes: Develop and implement automation scripts to reduce manual intervention and increase efficiency.
- Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in DevOps processes and implement changes to enhance performance and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes), strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, excellent problem-solving skills, and knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
