Role Purpose: Build and lead the digital security practice within Thai Union globally, establishing and maintaining the strategy and roadmap to ensure that information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes are adequately protected in our digital ecosystem. He/She will develop and implement cyber security governance and compliance policies, procedures, and standards for Thai Union, and support the business in delivering on its goals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure systems are maintained securely and are compliant with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Develop and implement information security governance and compliance policies, procedures and standards to enable the business to operate effectively.
- Develop, plan, build and execute the information security strategy and associated roadmap.
- Communicate cybersecurity best practices and risks across the enterprise. Drive security awareness, education, and conduct training to foster a security-aware culture across Thai Union
- Oversee all information security initiatives and instruct operational processes for monitoring and maintaining information security.
- Oversee the planning, design, purchase, and rolling out information security hardware and software across Thai Union
- Establish and manage a Information Security Risk Assessment program to define, identify, and classify critical assets, assess threats and vulnerabilities to those assets, and implement appropriate safeguards.
- Ensure disaster recovery plans are in place and routinely tested for critical digital systems.
About you:
- Ideally 8 to 12 years of relevant experience including five years in a security management role.
- Showcase a good understanding of the business, enabling you to translate business requirements into system requirements effectively.
- Strong communication and influencing skills at all corporate levels, including at the executive level.
- Possess an excellent knowledge of, and background in, information security technologies and regulations.
- A digital technology related degree and/or a industry recognized security certification is an advantage.
