Overview
This role is responsible for sourcing food and packaging materials both locally and internationally in accordance with approved specifications and business requirements. The position works closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Finance, Accounting, and Production to ensure the timely supply of materials with the right quality, quantity, and cost.
The role focuses on supplier management, purchase order execution, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization, while monitoring supplier performance and market trends to continuously bring value, innovation, and cost efficiency to the organization. Strong coordination skills, commercial mindset, and compliance awareness are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Local and/or Import sourcing Food and Packaging Materials according to designed specification. Involving in developing specifications with team.
- Cooperate with related parties such as R&D, Finance and Accounting, Production for requirement to source and supply right materials on time.
- Negotiate & Manage Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) at best value.
- Manage PO (PO issuing and delivery tracking) and suppliers to supply right quality, quantity and time (on time in full).
- Record supplier performance and price.
- Market trend update to bring new things and/or value items for products and operation.
- Understand related regulation for supply materials.
- Initiate owned KPI and tracking record.
- Fluent in English and SAP operation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Food Science, or other related fields
- Proven experience in sourcing or procurement of food and/or packaging materials in a manufacturing environment
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) management
- Experience in supplier management, purchase order processing, and delivery tracking
- Good understanding of relevant regulations related to food and packaging materials
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and KPI tracking skills
