Job Description

The Director, Healthcare is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving integrated healthcare initiatives and strengthening provider ecosystem capabilities within the market. This role focuses on building sustainable partnerships with healthcare providers, leading the development of new healthcare ventures, and enhancing the alignment between payer and provider models to improve patient outcomes, cost efficiency, and service quality.

The position requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational execution, and stakeholder management, with a strong emphasis on expanding healthcare capabilities through partnerships, network optimization, and new business models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end development and execution of healthcare initiatives, including greenfield projects, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and local market needs
  • Identify, evaluate, and structure strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and alliances with hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers
  • Drive integration between healthcare delivery and insurance-related services to enhance customer experience, clinical outcomes, and cost management
  • Oversee provider network performance by implementing KPIs, benchmarking frameworks, and continuous improvement initiatives across quality, cost, and operational efficiency
  • Design and implement governance structures, operating models, and compliance frameworks to ensure effective management of healthcare-related entities
  • Conduct market analysis and feasibility assessments to identify expansion opportunities, including new service offerings, geographic growth, and investment opportunities
  • Lead due diligence processes for partnerships, investments, and acquisitions, working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, medical, operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships, including healthcare partners, internal leadership teams, and external consultants
  • Drive innovation in healthcare delivery models, including digital health, outpatient care optimization, and value-based care approaches

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Healthcare Management, Business, Economics, or a related field (advanced degree such as MBA or Master's in Healthcare Management is an advantage)
  • 8–12 years of experience in healthcare strategy, provider management, healthcare consulting, hospital operations, or related fields
  • Proven track record in leading healthcare projects, partnerships, or new venture development within complex, matrixed environments
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen with experience in evaluating business cases, investments, and partnership models
  • Solid understanding of healthcare ecosystems, including provider networks, hospital operations, and payer-provider dynamics
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional and multi-market initiatives with measurable outcomes
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
  • Experience working in or with international/regional teams is highly preferred
  • Fluency in Thai is required; additional regional language capabilities are an advantage
