The Director of International Business Development will lead BioActive+s global market growth strategy, focusing on entering and scaling across key international markets. This role will be responsible for identifying high-potential regions, building strong distributors and partner ecosystems, and executing go-to-market strategies that drive sustainable revenue growth worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Market Expansion Strategy:
- Define and execute international expansion roadmap across priority regions (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe, etc.)
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities, including regulatory, competitive, and consumer landscape analysis
- Lead market entry strategies (distributor model, joint ventures, direct-to-market approaches)
- International Partnerships & Distribution:
- Build and manage a strong network of international distributors, partners, and key accounts
- Lead end-to-end partner lifecycle: sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, and performance management
- Establish scalable distribution models to accelerate market penetration
- Revenue Growth & Commercial Leadership:
- Own international sales targets, revenue pipelines, and growth performance
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial frameworks tailored to each market
- Monitor and optimize partner performance to ensure revenue and brand alignment
- Regulatory & Market Readiness:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with international regulations and product registration requirements
- Support localization strategies (product positioning, packaging, messaging) to suit each market
- Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights:
- Analyze global wellness and supplement trends to identify emerging opportunities
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions
- Translate insights into actionable growth initiatives
- Leadership & Cross-functional Alignment:
- Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Product, and Finance teams to ensure seamless international execution
- Build and lead a high-performing international business development function
- Act as a key advisor to leadership on global growth opportunities.
Qualification Requeirement:
- 10+ years of experience in international business development, export sales, or global market expansion
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or related fields (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record of successfully expanding brands into multiple international markets
- Strong experience managing distributors, cross-border partnerships, and regional markets
- Deep understanding of FMCG, wellness, supplements, or consumer health industries
- Experience navigating regulatory environments and product registration across markets
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to drive revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Fluent in English & Thai, additional languages are a strong advantage.
