About the Role

We are seeking a commercially driven and strategicDirector of Sales to lead the sales function and drive revenue growth across key market segments for this property. This role is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, strengthening client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a strong relationship builder with a solid understanding of hospitality sales, market dynamics, and revenue optimisation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and business performance targets across key market segments
  • Lead, coach, and develop the sales team to drive productivity, performance, and commercial effectiveness
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients, corporate accounts, and business partners
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer demand patterns to support pricing, positioning, and sales strategies
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare accurate forecasts, budgets, and monthly performance reports to support business planning
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Revenue Management, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on commercial initiatives and business goals
  • Represent the property and company at industry events, networking platforms, trade shows, and client engagements
  • Drive account management and client retention initiatives to strengthen long-term business partnerships
  • Ensure sales activities and processes are aligned with company standards and commercial objectives

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within the hospitality, travel, or commercial real estate sectors
  • Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving commercial targets
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to interpret market and performance data effectively
  • Self-motivated, commercially astute, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
