Job Summary

BDC is looking for an experienced EHS Manager. This key role leads the management of our Occupational Health, Environmental and Safety Management Systems and initiatives for our Data Centre facilities in Chonburi.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify environmental, safety, and health (ESH) hazards, and ensure timely follow-up and closure of all identified risks
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve ESH policies, procedures, and inspection schedules in line with company and client requirements
  • Design and deliver training programs covering workplace safety, emergency response, and regulatory compliance to ensure staff awareness and preparedness
  • Lead end-to-end incident investigations, including reporting, root cause analysis (RCA), and communication of findings to management and relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and all hazardous material records are properly maintained, updated, and easily accessible in compliance with regulations
  • Establish and oversee ESH risk assessments for critical operations, liaising with clients and consultants to secure approvals and ensure safe execution of work
  • Conduct site audits to assess compliance with internal procedures and legal requirements, and drive timely closure of all identified non-conformances
  • Support and maintain compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001), ensuring systems and processes meet ongoing certification requirements
  • Provide expert advisory support to employees and management on legal obligations, industry best practices, and ESH standards
  • Partner with site management and cross-functional teams to drive a strong safety culture and ensure daily operations comply with ESH requirements
  • Ensure all regulatory documentation, records, and operational compliance requirements are accurate, up-to-date, and audit-ready at all times
  • Provide ESH support for projects, including construction and commissioning activities, and be available on-call to respond to emergencies when required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Solid understanding of ESH regulations and best practices, especially within data centre or similar critical environments
  • Additional safety or environmental certifications is an advantage
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001) and local ESH regulations is important
  • Proven experience (8–10 years preferred) in ESH roles, with a track record of improving safety and compliance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive a positive safety culture
  • Self-driven, well-organized, and comfortable working independently, with basic knowledge of reporting, systems, and tools like MS Office
