Job Purpose / Basic Functions
- Lead cross-functional teams to improve supplier quality performance for TIM products.
- Coordinate with product and process teams to develop process flowcharts, FMEA, and control plans.
- Establish, review, and update incoming inspection methods and criteria.
- Define and monitor KPIs to support business requirements and take corrective action when targets are not met.
- Review work capacity, resolve immediate issues, and recommend continuous improvement actions.
- Work with cross-functional teams to disposition nonconforming products.
- Drive improvement actions required by customers, suppliers, and the organization.
- Communicate with customers when product quality issues are caused by suppliers.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Track quality performance metrics such as return rate, customer complaints, and in-process defect rate.
- Develop and implement training plans for QA technicians and operators.
- Support quality operations and make decisions based on customer drawings and specifications.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), including FAI, NPR, and RFC disposition.
- Review weekly quality performance reports and update action plans.
- Participate in weekly QA meetings and continuous improvement programs such as Kaizen and 5S.
- Participate in internal and external audits.
- Lead supplier audits and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the QA Manager.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Responsibilities
- Comply with company quality policies and quality management systems.
- Follow and maintain HS&E policies, procedures, work instructions, rules, and regulations.
- Report and correct unsafe actions and conditions immediately.
- Support H.O.S. goals including standardization, quick response, continuous improvement, PPM reduction, and OTTR performance.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences (Chemical Engineering, Chemical Science, Material Engineering, or related discipline).
Required Experience: 5–10 years in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to drive quality improvement and process orientation.
- ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 Lead Auditor certification.
- Six Sigma / Lean GB or BB certification preferred.
- Strong statistical data analysis skills using Minitab.
- Knowledge of FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, APQP, and Control Plans.
- Knowledge of inspection tools, measurement, and calibration systems preferred.
- Strong MS Office and computer skills.
- Business-level fluency in English.
