Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership andguidance, advice, coaching, and direct support, where required to deliver bestpractice selection, training, assessment, recognition/reward and appraisalsystems.
  • Deliver effective businesscommunication through advice, review, leadership, and direct contribution tomanagement and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence,publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and other publications, as appropriate.
  • Create a learning environmenton the site by providing the appropriate training and development planning foreach member of CBRE staff. Ensure basic training needs are delivered, employeesare fully competent to undertake their roles, and are able to reach their fullfuture potential.
  • Talent manage staff to ensurean appropriate training plan and career progression is identified.
  • Ensure to plan the work ahead,manage the work daily on the ground, communicate the issues around the work tothe key stakeholders and measure our performance at completing work on time andthe performance of our staff.
  • Effectively leadmanagement-related activities including regular management meetings;development of operational procedures; fostering of good relationships with theclient; providing services of the highest standards.
  • Be overall responsible for theday-to-day management of the Data Centre Critical Environment Operations teamwithin the specified sites.
  • Manage annual contract budgetsand accounts. Produce site-related financial, activity, and other statisticalinformation and reports as requested. To provide input into regular managementreports and Budget submissions and reviews.
  • Be the point of contact duringsignificant events or multi-discipline technical escalations occurring withinthe specified sites.
  • As necessary, participate inany business continuity plans the team may be involved in.
  • Ensure data centre operationsand CBRE business policies and processes are complied with at your sites, i.e.effectively communicated, implemented and adhered to within the contract.
  • Ensure the provision of healthyand safe working conditions and that both clients and CBRE health and safetypolicy's and process are effectively implemented across both CBRE andsubcontractors activities, and are regularly reviewed.
  • Build and maintain a safetyconscious team culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure optimum staffingstructures operate across contracts, balancing cost reduction with the deliveryof service excellence and equipment reliability and availability. Ensurestructures support peaks and troughs in workload, and disaster recovery.
  • Ensure post holders are fullycompetent, and that effective succession planning arrangements are in place,monitoring staff retention rates and ensuring staff training & developmentplans are produced and implemented.
  • Ensure all absence is fullycovered by suitably trained and experienced staff to ensure full 24/7 coverage.
  • Ensure appropriate controlsystems are in place to ensure statutory, policy, and contractual commitmentsare met.
  • Plan and schedule allmaintenance subcontractors works and repairs. Ensure all accounts anddocumentation associated with these subcontractors are current and up to dateon a monthly basis.
  • Ensure all subcontractorsdeliver a quality and competent service and that all contractual obligationsare met.
  • Reach out to and liaise withglobal peers to ensure consistency across the accounts and compliance withclient standards and best practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Facilities Management or a related field.
  • At least 5 - 8 years ofexperience in critical facilities or data centres.
  • Knowledge and experience incritical systems such as UPS, generators, electrical distribution systems,cooling systems, and building management systems.
  • Strong leadership, English& Thai communication, and people management skills.
  • Ability to manage and developrelationships with clients and subcontractors.
  • Experience in managing budgetsand delivering financial results.
  • Knowledge of health and safetyregulations and best practices.
  • Ability to manage multipletasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving anddecision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressurein a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail andorganizational skills.
  • Professional certification infacilities management or related field is desirable.
