Job Description:
Working with a small, dynamic team, the Event Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing events across small, medium, and large scales, including luxury lifestyle, corporate, hospitality, retail, art, and brand activations. This role requires strong budget ownership, effective client management, and the ability to collaborate as a team player while guiding and supporting team members to ensure successful delivery. The job scope includes all relevant research, planning and on-site execution, as well as supervising assigned executives throughout the process. The Event Manager is also responsible for building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners. A strong sense of creativity, design awareness, and attention to detail is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
Develop creative event concepts, proposals, presentations, and pitches aligned with client objectives,brand direction, and budget.
Lead end-to-end planning and execution of events across various scales and industries, from concept to post-event wrap-up
Management project timeline, budgets, and profitability, ensuring cost efficiency while coordinating closely with production teams, talent partners, and vendors.
Act as the primary client contact, managing all communications, expectations, changes, and issues
professionally and proactively.
Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and partners to secure the best resources
within budget and project requirements
Oversee all operational and compliance requirements, including permits, licenses, contracts, and event- related documentation in accordance with company policy and Thai law.
Composing and executing detailed checklists, program schedules, and run-of-show documents,
ensuring accuracy and readiness for execution.
Identify potential risks and troubleshoot issues effectively during planning, setup, live events, and
teardown, minimizing disruptions, risks, and damages.
Maintain accurate and complete project records documentation, reports, and records while meeting
deadlines and prioritizing multiple tasks efficiently.
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing events team, including managing short-term and long-term staffing as required by each project.
Perform other duties related to brand, communications, and event delivery as assigned.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business Studies, Marketing, Event Management, Public Relations or Mass
Communications
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Event management or Marketing Communications;
prior experience in an agency setting (Luxury Lifestyle industry preferred)
An existing network of contacts in customer database, design and production vendors will be
advantageous
A driven self-starter who is passionate about events and has a positive can do and contributory
attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
Excellent time-management, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous with strong attention to details and a sense of responsibility and ownership to projects
Good written and verbal communications skills and proficiency in both Thai and English
A team player with strong interpersonal skills, is proactive and able to work independently
Some night and weekend work is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint). Familiarity with Adobe
Photoshop, Illustrator, event rendering, and computer-aided design (CAD) software would be
advantageous.
