About the role
As an Events Executive at The Great Room (TGR), you will be responsible for supporting the events department in organising and executing events designed to cultivate connections and foster friendships.
A successful Events Executive will be responsible for bringing the community together via the planned events centred around lifestyle, wellness, business, and learning.
The Events Executive will report to the Events Lead.
What you'll do
Events Management
- Research and source for partners and event suppliers for TGR events
- Be the primary contact for event leads for home location(s)
- Coordinate, manage and work on events-related logistics (both physical and online events)
- Manage monthly community events
- Manage event F&B inventory for home location(s)
- Carry out on-site event management across all locations (when required)
- Assist in managing the event inventory and equipment (if any)
Events Revenue KPI
- Generate revenue to achieve monthly sales target
- Facilitate sales and upsell events to existing members
- Build continuous pipeline for event leads in upcoming months
- Assist in managing various booking channels and customer enquiries
Events Payments
- Manage invoices and member payments
- Ensure timely payment to vendors
- Carry out bad debt collection for events
Marketing Efforts
- Provide marketing support for lead generating events
- Assist in preparing event-related documents and materials
- Support all marketing initiatives across content creation, members engagement and brand-building
Who you are
Requirements
- Have a qualification in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Business Management or the equivalent
- At least 6 months experience in a relevant role
- Proven track record in event organisation and delivery
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Uniform will be provided and must be worn at all times during working hours
Qualities
- Able to meet tight deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong organisational and planning skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills; confident interacting with vendors, speakers and cross-company teams at all different levels of seniority
- Self-starter with a good attitude towards learning
