Job Description

Job Purpose

The EVP – Finance is responsible for overseeing the entire financial management of the Group, covering financial strategy, planning, accounting, treasury, debt management, risk governance, and business performance. This role ensures financial sustainability, transparency, and effective capital structuring to support long-term business growth and shareholder value.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute the Group's financial strategy aligned with corporate direction and growth targets.

- Advise the CEO, CFO, and Board on financial insights, investment feasibility, and expansion decisions.

- Drive capital efficiency, cost optimization, and long-term planning.

- Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and analysis for M&A and new business opportunities.

2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

- Oversee annual budgeting and multi-year planning.

- Ensure forecasting accuracy, scenario planning, and performance analysis.

- Monitor variances and enforce financial discipline.

3. Accounting, Reporting & Internal Control

- Ensure accurate and timely consolidated financial statements (GAAP/IFRS).

- Supervise closing cycles and strengthen internal control systems.

- Coordinate with auditors and regulators.

4. Treasury, Cash Flow & Capital Management

- Lead liquidity planning and cash flow optimization.

- Manage working capital, banking facilities, and fund utilization.

- Oversee hedging and FX risk.

- Evaluate alternative financing options.

5. Debt Restructuring, Bank Negotiation & Debt Management

- Lead debt restructuring to optimize interest cost and repayment structure.

- Negotiate with banks on credit facilities, covenants, refinancing.

- Maintain strong banking relationships.

- Monitor debt obligations and ensure covenant compliance.

- Develop debt dashboards for maturities, exposure, and refinancing needs.

- Recommend capital structure improvements.

6. Risk, Compliance & Financial Governance

- Establish enterprise risk frameworks and governance.

- Ensure regulatory and tax compliance.

- Promote transparency and ethical practices.

7. Leadership & People Development

- Develop senior finance leaders and build capability across the Group.

- Drive Digital Finance, automation, and transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA

• CPA, CFA, or equivalent preferred

• Minimum 18–20 years of progressive finance experience; at least 8 years in executive roles

• Strong background in treasury, debt restructuring, bank negotiation, capital structure

• Experienced in group consolidation, strategic planning, and governance

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management

• Strong English communication and Board-level presentation skills
