JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for end‑to‑end financial stewardship of local legal entities.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting and reporting for statutory, legal, and tax purposes.
  • Maintain full compliance with local regulations and group financial policies.
  • Own and maintain local books, including internal controls, provisions, accruals, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Represent the company toward banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other financial institutions.
  • Act as the key interface with Group Finance functions, including Reporting, Treasury, Tax, Controlling, and Risk Management.
  • Support Management and the Board on strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
  • Oversee local finance teams and BPO providers to ensure data accuracy, timely delivery, and effective knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
  • Professional accounting certification (CPD preferred)
  • At least 5–7 years of finance or accounting experience
  • Experience using SAP and/or Oracle ERP systems
  • Good knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and financial controls
  • Understanding of tax, statutory reporting, and audit coordination
