Finance Manager

About the Role :

We are looking for a hands-on finance professional who will work across the breadth of the finance function, driving key initiatives and building deep expertise across processes, reporting, controls, and business partnering.

This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, timely book closures, seamless audit management, budgeting and projections, management reporting, and strong process governance across the organization. The individual will supervise day-to-day accounting and compliance activities, drive financial discipline, and support management with reliable financial information and insights.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Financial Reporting & Closures :

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closures.
• Review accounting records, reconciliations, and financial statements across all entities.
• Support management with accurate and insightful financial reporting.

2. Audit & Compliance Management :

• Lead statutory, tax, and internal audit coordination.
• Ensure audit readiness at all times and timely closure of audit observations.
• Support taxation and regulatory compliance requirements.

3. Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis :

• Drive annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and conduct variance analysis.
• Monitor business performance and provide actionable financial insights.

4. Management Reporting :

• Prepare and maintain management MIS, profitability reports, and financial dashboards.
• Present financial information to leadership in a clear and meaningful manner.
• Support decision-making through analytical reporting.

5. Finance Operations & Controls :

• Supervise accounting, compliance, payment processing, and reconciliation activities performed by the finance team.
• Ensure finance processes, controls, and approval workflows are consistently followed.
• Drive financial discipline and governance across the organization.

6. Process Improvement :

• Identify opportunities for process enhancement and automation.
• Strengthen financial controls and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the implementation of best practices across the finance function.

Candidate Profile

Qualification

• Chartered Accountant (Mandatory)

Experience

• 5-6 years of post-qualification experience.
• Big 4 experience preferred who has worked with Private Equity Fund.
• Experience within Financial Services, Investment Management, Private Equity, AIF, PMS, Asset Management, or related sectors preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of accounting, financial reporting, audits, taxation, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Sound knowledge of financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
• High level of ownership, attention to detail, and execution capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
