Job Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Develop and review financial models for renewable energy projects (e.g., solar, wind, Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations.hydro)
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Ensure financial statements comply with IFRS/GAAP and local regulatory requirements.
- Oversee audits, tax filings, and statutory reporting.
- Maintain accurate general ledger, fixed assets, and cost allocations.
Project Finance & Cost Control
- Monitor CAPEX and OPEX for renewable energy projects.
- Track EPC contracts, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), and O&M contracts.
- Support financing activities, loan drawdowns, and covenant compliance.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity.
- Oversee banking relationships and payment processes.
- Manage foreign exchange exposure and funding requirements.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Implement and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
- Support ESG, sustainability, and corporate governance reporting.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
- Act as a key finance partner to senior management, auditors, lenders, and investors.
- Support due diligence for new projects, acquisitions, or joint ventures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 510 years of relevant finance experience, preferably in the renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sector.
- Strong experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and project finance.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Fluent in English (Written and Spoken)
