Financial controller – Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full spectrum of accounting, tax, and statutory compliance
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with local regulations (and USGAAP where applicable)
- Lead all tax-related matters, including:
- Corporate tax compliance
- Customs duties
- Transfer pricing
- BOI privileges
- Foreign exchange regulations
- Act as primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators
- Manage and develop the accounting team (3 direct reports)
- Handle legal and regulatory documentation, including court-related matters if required
- Drive process improvements and ensure strong internal controls
Requirements
- CPD license (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong hands-on tax experience (customs, TP, BOI, FX, etc.)
- Proven background in manufacturing environment
- Solid leadership experience managing a team
- Good command of English (for regional/corporate communication)
- Exposure to USGAAP is an advantage (not mandatory)
