Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert tax consulting services, focusing on Thai tax regulations and cross-border tax matters.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of clients tax exposures and compliance status in Thailand including tax planning, tax structuring and tax optimization.
  • Support clients in navigating tax compliance as they establish operations in the Thai market.
  • Guide clients in understanding their tax obligations, structuring their business operations, and identifying tax efficiencies within Thai regulatory frameworks.
  • Advise on basic, general and comprehensive VAT, SBT, withholding taxes, corporate income tax, personal income tax, including areas covering DTA (PE/Permanent Establishment), Transfer Pricing, CbCR (Country by Country Reporting) Two Pillar BESP 2.0 and other relevant Thai tax laws.
  • Transaction Advisory (DD, M&A and Valuation Analysis, Deal Structuring and etc.)
  • Research and be adept to Thai tax laws, regulations, and recent rulings.
  • Consult with Rev. Officer and all other relevant government offices for any required clarifications on tax issues or doubts raised by the client and the team.
  • Draft Letter of Advices, Opinion Reports, Ruling Letter (Request) and the like in Thai and English.
  • Meeting with Clients to address their tax inquiries and cases.
  • Serve as the primary lead or an active contributing member on Tax Consulting, Advisory and Transaction Services Projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide tax consulting support and address client-related tax issues.
  • And any other Ad Hoc Duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
  • Proven solid experience as a Tax Consultant preferably in a professional service or advisory, business consulting firms.
  • Strong knowledge of local and international Tax Laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity in CRM, ERP or Accounting Software platforms.
  • Professional level proficiency of English and Thai Language, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset.
