We are seeking a commercially driven General Manager to lead and grow Sinpex's Thailand operations. This role carries full responsibility for local business development, gross profit (GP) growth, and overall branch performance, covering end to end logistics services, including ocean freight, air freight, trucking, warehousing, and value added solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong local market network, proven ability to grow GP, and the leadership capability to build a high performing team while aligning Thailand's strategy with regional objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Commercial Growth

  • Drive local market expansion in Thailand, focusing on GP growth across full logistics services (ocean, air, trucking, warehousing, projects, and cross border).
  • Develop and execute local sales and pricing strategies to increase revenue quality and profitability.
  • Personally manage and grow key accounts and strategic customers.
  • Lead major tenders, contract negotiations, and long term customer agreements.
  • Strengthen partnerships with carriers, vendors, and overseas agents to enhance commercial competitiveness.

Leadership & Operations Management

  • Provide overall leadership of the Thailand branch, ensuring alignment between sales, operations, and finance.
  • Ensure high service standards, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all logistics products.
  • Oversee team structure, hiring, performance management, and talent development.
  • Promote a strong performance driven and customer focused culture.

Financial & Performance Management

  • Full P&L ownership for Thailand, with clear accountability for GP, cost control, and budget management.
  • Monitor KPIs related to GP per shipment, customer profitability, yield management, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare regular business performance, market analysis, and growth reports for regional management.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Thai customs regulations, international trade rules, and company policies.
  • Manage operational, commercial, and financial risks, resolving escalated issues proactively.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and governance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with proven GM / Branch Head / Country leadership experience.
  • Strong background in business development and GP driven growth within the Thailand market.
  • Solid understanding of full logistics solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross functional teams.
  • Strong financial acumen with hands on P&L management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in Thai and English; Mandarin/Chinese is a strong advantage.
  • Strategic, results oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast paced, competitive environment.
