THE ROLE:
We're looking for a commercially driven, sales-focused and people-first General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of one or more GymNation clubs. You'll own your club's commercial performance, operational standards and team culture — creating a high-energy environment where members love to train and your team loves to work.

A HIGH-PERFORMANCE, SALES-LED MODEL:
Please read carefully. GymNation operates a high-performance, sales-led model, and this is a commercial leadership role first. The General Manager personally owns the club's commercial performance — driving membership sales, conversion, renewals and retention every single day. Proven sales experience and people-management experience are both essential. Managers stepping in from a non-sales-led environment should expect the day-to-day to look materially different, with a strong focus on revenue generation, commercial accountability and target achievement.
This role is best suited to leaders who thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and enjoy building high-performing teams that consistently deliver against ambitious commercial goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
LEADERSHIP & TEAM DEVELOPMENT
▸ Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing, motivated team
▸ Create a positive, accountable and inclusive workplace culture
▸ Conduct regular performance reviews and personal development planning
▸ Drive effective succession planning and talent development
▸ Lead people management in close partnership with HR
SALES & COMMERCIAL PERFORMANCE
▸ Drive new member acquisition, renewals and referral programmes
▸ Implement and monitor sales strategies that consistently exceed revenue targets
▸ Own club KPIs across sales, retention and profitability
▸ Analyse performance data and launch initiatives that move the numbers
OPERATIONS & CLUB MANAGEMENT
▸ Oversee daily club operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
▸ Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation
▸ Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures and local regulations
▸ Manage budgets, costs and operational resources effectively
MEMBER EXPERIENCE & BRAND STANDARDS
▸ Deliver an outstanding member journey at every touchpoint
▸ Protect and elevate the GymNation brand and atmosphere
▸ Proactively resolve member issues and service challenges
▸ Champion member advocacy and turn members into fans
STRATEGY & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
▸ Contribute to regional and group business objectives
▸ Identify local growth opportunities and community partnerships
▸ Support marketing, promotional and community initiatives
▸ Drive continuous improvement across every area of the club

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
▸ Proven sales experience is essential — a demonstrable track record of personally driving sales and consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
▸ People-management experience is essential — proven success leading, coaching and holding a team accountable for delivering commercial results
▸ Strong commercial acumen — comfortable owning a P&L, managing budgets and using data to drive decisions
▸ 3–5+ years in a management role within fitness, hospitality, retail, leisure or a comparable customer-facing, sales-driven environment
▸ Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Thai and English (additional languages an advantage)
▸ Customer-obsessed, with a genuine passion for fitness, wellbeing and community
▸ Resilient and energised by a fast-paced, high-growth, sales-led environment
▸ Open to relocation and regional opportunities as GymNation expands across the Gulf and into Asia (advantage)
▸ A recognised qualification in business, management or fitness is desirable

WORKING PATTERN
Full-time role with the flexibility to work across club opening hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays in line with operational needs.
