As the GM - New Business Development, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, identify new markets, and champion key projects that enable the organization to diversify and scale. Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities across emerging and high-growth sectors.
  • Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and present business cases, investment proposals, and long-term growth plans to the executive team.
  • Drive end-to-end development of new ventures, from concept initiation to operational launch.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and technology providers.
  • Oversee due diligence, project planning, and resource allocation for new business initiatives.
  • Introduce new technologies, solutions, and business models to support corporate innovation.
  • Collaborate with internal functions-R&D, Operations, Finance, and Strategy-to align new initiatives with organizational capabilities.
  • Monitor market trends and industry shifts to ensure continuous adaptation and competitiveness.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and align new business efforts with company vision.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, project updates, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor teams to ensure effective execution of new business projects.

The Successful Applicant


Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, new ventures, or strategic planning.
  • Proven track record in leading new business initiatives or launching new products, projects, or ventures.
  • Strong strategic thinking, financial modeling, and commercial negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience at senior levels.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in Thai and English.
