Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and development of new business opportunities across emerging and high-growth sectors.
- Conduct market research, feasibility studies, and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and present business cases, investment proposals, and long-term growth plans to the executive team.
- Drive end-to-end development of new ventures, from concept initiation to operational launch.
- Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders, including industry partners, government agencies, and technology providers.
- Oversee due diligence, project planning, and resource allocation for new business initiatives.
- Introduce new technologies, solutions, and business models to support corporate innovation.
- Collaborate with internal functions-R&D, Operations, Finance, and Strategy-to align new initiatives with organizational capabilities.
- Monitor market trends and industry shifts to ensure continuous adaptation and competitiveness.
- Work closely with senior leadership to define strategic priorities and align new business efforts with company vision.
- Prepare executive-level reports, project updates, and strategic recommendations.
- Lead and mentor teams to ensure effective execution of new business projects.
The Successful Applicant
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in business development, corporate strategy, new ventures, or strategic planning.
- Proven track record in leading new business initiatives or launching new products, projects, or ventures.
- Strong strategic thinking, financial modeling, and commercial negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management experience at senior levels.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in Thai and English.
