Role: Golang Developer

Client: IBM

Location: Bengaluru.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Go Backend Engineer / Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Go. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Go, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, and event-driven architectures, with the ability to drive architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and build highly reliable distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement clean architecture patterns (Service → Repository → Resolver).
• Lead PostgreSQL schema design, indexing strategy, query optimization, and database migration planning.
• Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs using Go and gqlgen.
• Build and maintain asynchronous workflows using Temporal for distributed processing and system orchestration.
• Design integrations with external systems using REST APIs, Kafka, Azure Event Hub, and Azure Service Bus.
• Define and enforce RBAC authorization, authentication, and backend security standards.
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture using Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, and FluxCD.
• Drive GitOps-based deployment strategies and CI/CD best practices.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and improve engineering quality and testing standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang) development.
• Strong knowledge of Go concurrency patterns, goroutines, channels, and performance optimization.
• Expertise in designing production-grade GraphQL APIs using gqlgen.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience building event-driven and asynchronous systems using Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or similar messaging platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-native distributed systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence
