YOUR ROLE AS A SENIOR EXECUTIVE, GOVERNMENT RELATIONS
In this role, you will join our team and be our voice in the public sphere as AirAsia branding. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key government officials, advocating for our interests, and keeping us informed of legislative and regulatory developments that impact our business.
WHAT YOU'LL CHAMPION:
1. Strategy, Intelligence & Communication
- Policy Intelligence & Research: Monitor regulatory developments and conduct in-depth research on legislative issues to provide actionable insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Strategic Advocacy: Analyze trends to assist in developing strategies that advance organizational objectives and protect business interests.
- Communication & Visuals: Develop high-impact communication materials (briefings, reports, presentations) to inform internal and external audiences about government relations activities.
2. Industry Advocacy & External Partnership
- Industry Advocacy (AAT Liaison): Actively assist in coordination with the Airlines Association of Thailand (AAT). Prepare briefs and joint proposals to advocate for policies that stimulate industry growth and reduce regulatory barriers to business operations.
- Government Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong networks with key officials and agencies (e.g., MOT, CAAT, TAT) to foster long-term collaboration.
- Partnership Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop joint marketing campaigns and proposals for relevant authorities (e.g., TAT) to support business initiatives.
3. Operations, Compliance & Internal Alignment
- Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with relevant departments such as Commercial, Communication, and Operation teams to ensure alignment and coordination of government relations activities with overall organizational goals.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure strict compliance with aviation laws and regulations, including the timely preparation and submission of necessary government documentation.
- Crisis & Project Management: Support the Manager in managing crises affecting the organization's reputation and lead the execution of key events (e.g., Inaugural Flights) or ad-hoc special projects.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Political Science, Social Science, and other related fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with legal affairs, government relations, public policy, or advocacy influence, or aviation business.
- Proven expertise in analyzing legal, policy, and political issues, and effectively translating strategy into actionable plans.
- Ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and carry out multiple assignments to achieve multiple objectives.
- Proficient in computer literacy with presentation skill.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, both Thai and English.
- Excellent work ethic and an ability to work well in a team environment.
- Able to work at Don Mueang International Airport and travel for business assignments as required.

Based on your performance and contribution in this role, you'll grow into becoming a Manager for Government Relations, and more upper-level in the future. In this role, you'll work on developing and executing policies and strategies to drive aviation regulations and policies in collaboration with the involved Ministry.
