Head of Engineering

I'm currently partnering with a well-established organization in the financial services sector that is expanding its technology leadership team.

They are looking for an experienced Head of Engineering to lead a group of engineers and drive the development of scalable web and mobile applications in a modern cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers

Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions

Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams

Oversee CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices

Ensure system performance, reliability, and production stability

Contribute to architecture decisions and technology strategy

Technology Environment

Java, Python, Spring Boot, modern web frameworks, mobile technologies, cloud services (AWS), relational databases, and CI/CD tools.

What They're Looking For

8+ years in software development

Experience leading engineering teams

Strong knowledge of software architecture and scalable systems

Experience working in Agile environments
